The national co-ordinator is Jacky Atkinson. For any inquiries about the UK national competition please contact Jacky at: natorgklq@gmail.com. The Kids' Lit Quiz is a major national celebration of books and
reading imported to the UK from New Zealand, which offers irresistible
reading challenges, broadens awareness, is hugely motivating for boys -
and, best of all, is great fun! Heats typically take place November/December (fast forward on the timetable below). Typically there are about 15 regional heats, followed by a national final for the winning teams of each region. Quizmaster Wayne Mills blogs from around the country after each heat http://kidslitquiz.blogspot.com/ PhotographsPhotos from 2012 http://www.flickr.com/photos/coventrycc/sets/72157632211015711/show/ Photos from 2011 https://picasaweb.google.com/102912637350817528631/KLQUK2011 UK SPONSORS 2011SERCO - Bringing Service to Life - http://www.serco.com/ SCHOLASTIC - The world's largest publisher and distributor of children's books - http://www.scholastic.co.uk/ PETERS - The largest independent and dedicated supplier of children's books to schools and libraries in the UK - http://petersbooksellingservices.newsweaver.co.uk/newsletter/1qozti73nac MICRO LIBRARIAN SYSTEMS Ltd - MLS are the leading supplier of Library Management Systems to Education in the UK, www.microlib.co.uk BAYARD - Discovery Box - More Than a Book - http://www.bayard-magazines.co.uk/ COVENTRY BUILDING SOCIETY - http://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS
